This is a 50-minute video of a seminar with accompanying slide deck that provides guidelines and recommendations for researchers to consider when conducting research involving racial or ethnic data. Approaches to and considerations for collecting racial and ethnic data are presented and concrete examples of data collection forms are provided. Finally, considerations for including racial and ethnic variables in statistical analyses are discussed with illustrative examples.
